Applying for a Home Equity Loan

Before we can process a home equity loan application we need to receive:

  • a completed application check list
  • a completed loan application (download the checklist and application here)
  • a copy of the deed to the property
  • a copy of proof of income for all applicants (Paystub/statement of pension benefits)
  • a copy of a property tax bill
  • a copy of the declarations page of your homeowners (Hazard) insurance policy
  • a copy of your federal income tax return
  • $100.00 Application fee

Once all the documents are received, we will begin to process the application. If the application approved, an appointment to close the loan is scheduled approximately two weeks after title work is received. If the application is denied for credit reasons we will return your $100.00 application fee.

At the time of closing, a $150.00 closing fee is needed.
